I am from South Boston, Massachusetts, and my acting career began Boston and it took me to, New York City, and Los Angeles, California.  I am a SAG-AFTRA actor with a blue collar background.

In Los Angeles I completed Improv training at Second City which I loved. I have also been studying with Amy Lyndon.

​

I spent almost every night studying Stand-Up Comedy at The World Famous Comedy Store. 

I have recently been body doubling Bobby Moynihan on Saturday Night Live for Three episodes in December, 2014. 

 

I have also appeared as a background artist in over 30 movies. 

 

I have made several films to assist some other actors in the Boston area get some footage for their reels while practicing my film making techniques.

I am a United States Air Force Veteran and I also own J.Ryan Solutions inc., an Integrated Technology Consulting company with a heavy emphasis on Community Technology Centers wich I am very passionate about.
